Hewlett-Packard (HP) continues to be a formidable force in churning out laptops for all kinds of markets and several HP laptops reviews attest to that. Despite the fact that HP continues to be a force to reckon with, some of their products - like other laptops from different brands - also has some negative points that may keep potential buyers at bay. Here are some reviews that one should consider before purchasing an HP laptop.

One of the reviews is for the HP EliteBook Mobile Workstation 8560W costs about $1,929 but is a processing powerhouse with its 2.3GHz Intel Core i7 2820QM processor. It also has an ample memory of 16GB, but its 500GB hard drive storage could be larger. It is also a visual feast with a screen size of 15.6 inches. Despite its processing power and good looks, the EliteBook 8560W pricey and heavy. As it is, this laptop can be considered a replacement for a desktop PC.

Another review here is for the HP Pavilion g4-1215dx. The best thing about this laptop is its reasonable $379.99 price tag. Its 14-inch display is nothing to sneer at and its speakers churn out above-average quality sounds. This is the right laptop for people who does basic computing like using word processors, create spreadsheets, listen to music, or browsing the Internet. However, hard-core gamers may find the g4-1215dx so-so because of its not-so-brilliant display.

The HP Pavilion dv7-6B55DX has a reasonably powerful 2.4GHz Intel Core i5-2430M processor. Considering its 17.3 inch screen size, this laptop packs an ample memory of 8GB and a storage space of a whopping 750GB. Moreover, its $749.99 price tag is reasonable for all the features offered. The laptop boasts of excellent performance and a long battery life. The downside of the HP Pavilion dv7-6B55DX is its low resolution and its integrated graphics is not that stellar.

Next, we have the HP Folio 13. This ultrabook, with a suggested retail price of $899.99, this is one thin laptop that provides great performance, ergonomics at a reasonable price. Small businesses are a good market for this ultrabook. The HP Folio 13 (which has a screen size of 13.3 inches) packs a powerful 1.6GHz Intel Core i5-2467M processor. It has a memory of 4GB, but it only has an SSD hard drive that can store 128GB of data. Now, people who store a lot of videos or audio files might think twice about purchasing the HP Folio 13.

Another of the HP laptops reviews is for the HP Pavilion dm4-3090se Beats Edition is a chic-looking 14 inch multimedia powerhouse. It boasts of a high-resolution matte display and a subwoofer. Indeed, it is a movie watcher's and music listener's dream which costs around $899.99. It has a powerful 2.5GHz Intel Core i5-2450M processor with an equally adequate memory of 6GB. Users of this laptop would love the 500GB to store a lot of videos and audio files.
